Go the distance – no fear, no frightening

One of the encouragements of my job is to encounter teachings from different faiths and traditions. As a chaplain I try not to frighten anyone – being in a children’s hospital can be a scary experience and you certainly don’t need a chaplain to make things worse. I also seek not to fear anyone either and if there is something which it is important to communicate I hope that I say it regardless of who I may need to say it to – in as gracious way as possible usually.
