It is an in-between season in our local park. Empty beds, who knows what comes next?
If you look closely you can see weeds beginning to spring up.
By choice I would make a herb bed. Something that adds flavour, that enhances, even heals sometimes.
We have a choice in what we plant. We can let weeds grow and take over or we can prepare the soil and plant things that will hopefully flourish.
There are so many ways gardening is used as a metaphor and my walks around the park bring rich images which speak to me.
Today I planted some seeds through my work and I will be interested to see what emerges from them.
We can consciously plant or inadvertently or unknowingly plant. We may never know but occasionally we get glimpses in a message or an encounter.
What are you planting today?
