This picture is taken from our car. We were on our way to breakfast on Dartmoor.
The cows were fascinating to watch. They kept trying to get off the road back on to grass but coming across closed gates. Eventually we were able to pass and saw them as we drove back on common ground
It reminded me that journeys often have a set pace which we can be powerless to change. But also that not all gates are open for us.
Being on what still seems like a new and unexpected journey I need to appreciate that it may be slower than I might naturally appreciate and that I need to be more like the cows we encountered, keep on going, exploring opportunities and seeing where I find nourishment.
